Clay is awesome for pretty much any/everything, even if you consider

yourself healthy.

If I was sick, or advising someone I knew who was sick, clay would be #1

on my list of *must* do's...

Actually, I think it would be fine.

I do however recommend joining the eytonsearth mail list for questions

like this - is one of the nicest and most knowledgable guys I know

online...
