I just went to check out the pictures you posted of ! I know what you mean about the smile, my son is a perpetual smiler too. 's eyes look great, (so big and open)! Thanks for sharing those close ups of the recovery process. It makes me excited about Hayden's surgery. I will post a picture of him so you all can "meet" him. He's 2.5 now and will have surgery when he is 3.5! I am looking forward to seeing more of his beautiful blue eyes too! All the best with the recovery!

Hi, all! had sling surgery on 1/15/08 & he's doing great! He had a rough spell with nausea so we had to spend the night at the hospital, but honestly, he's not had any pain at all & he's his usual happy self.I posted pictures so far and had him NOT smile, which is tricky, so you could all really see how his eyes look.I'll post a few more in the next few weeks so you all can see his progress, but we're already pleased with the results.Sari

Sheryl,

Thanks for the good wishes- I can't believe how well 's doing. He

didn't need any pain meds after the second day and it's hard to

believe he'll be out of school another 2 weeks. His surgeon would

rather be conservative than rush it & I agree. I'll post more

pictures as we get farther out.

Good luck with your future surgery! This is a great place for

information & support. Sari
