Guest guest
Hi Alix, I must start by saying its wonderful that you are in a position that you can choose when and if to have your surgery. Well done for your message too, I know these things are not always easy. I think its really important to remember that each case is individual and because there are varying degress of BPEI, there is a definate need to find the right medical advice. Even though my surgery was at age 14, my daughter had surgey at age 4. I think it is very important for each person and parent affected by BPEI to make an informed decision with as much information and guidance given by a trusted professional doctor - I may add, I have heard it can sometimes take a few doctors to find the one that is right for you. We wish you both the very best. Regards Clare Teale Herts UKangelgirloneandonly <suicide_note69@...> wrote: It Is Going To Be A Big Thing, So I'd Have To Agree And Wait And See If He Wants It Done. I'm 14, and i have BPEI & I'm Just Looking Into Corrective Surgeries Now. It Could Give Him A Whole Different Look, Which Could Be Good Or Bad, Depends On How You See It. But I'd Wait.Good Luck And Good Wishes.-Alix>> My son is 11 years old with BPEI.
