I had a pretty big one removed 20yrs ago...the surgeon then told me in all his career he had never seen a c-toma...at 15 let me tell ya you do not want to hear that when you are told you have to have surgery as well...I am scared to death because my doctor refuses to do the surgery since another doctor had done it previously...did you also have that issue when finding out you had to have a second surgery? I am scared of surgery and wish there was another way to remove the c-toma...are you anxious as well? I AM IN THE Portland area so if anyone can recommend a good surgeon I would appreciate it! Thanks Re: Date Good luck - just had my 2nd c-toma removal - 1 in each ear. This one was a biggy as well. It is indeed a horrible thing but there do seem to be avenues of hope (just got my 1st hearing aid and its unobstrusive and remarkably effective).
