Guest guest
Hi Wow! Kirsten looks amazing, I bet you are all so thrilled it is all over. I can't wait for that day. Holly is due her last two operations in 2009 before she starts school in the September so it will be the same as Kirsten. At least it means we have next year off too from operations but means two in one year, phew! Hopefully we will meet at another reunion soon - Take care Love Lucy xx (Hampshire, UK) <parsonsfamily108@...> wrote: Hi everyoneI have posted some recent photos of Kirsten, 5yrs (under Kirsten Parsons). There was no need to be worried as she was walking as normal the next day and also went riding on her bicycle! Her eyes are usually closed when she sleeps, but sometimes are slightly open if she is in a deep sleep and on her back. Kirsten also started at a new school in September. She is in Year 1 now and she has made friends very easily. No one has asked me about her eyes, even the other parents. It makes for a nice change.Best regards ParsonsColchester, UK Answers - Get better answers from someone who knows. Try it now.

Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the photos, Kirsten looks great. I `m a's Mom, she is 5 years old and has BPES Type1, genetically tested at the University Gent, Belgium, Prof de Baere. She has not had any surgeries yet. a's first epicanthus surgery is scheduled for January 2008 at R. hospital in Harley Street, London I hope you don't mind a couple of questions: Was it also Collin who performed Kirsten's fist lid lift at the age of 2 (result was great!)? Why had the artificial material already had to be replaced at the age of 5? How much time passed between the epicanthus op and the 2nd lid lift? What did you do to prevent Kirsten from rubbing her fresh scars after the operations? How many hours did each operation take (epicanthus, lid lift) Has she suffered from dry eyes already before the first lid lift, as a? Hope to hearing from you, Regards, Anja > > Hi everyone > > I have posted some recent photos of Kirsten, 5yrs (under Kirsten > Parsons).
