Guest guest
Dear Angel Firstly, welcome to the group J If you take a look at some of the earlier posts you notice that there are many people who are in the same situation as you and your husband. This topic probably affects quite a few people who have the view that they prefer to discuss it in with others in person rather than in this forum. Also, many woman will have either been past this stage, or not yet have reached it. So, I guess what I am saying is that you aren’t alone in any way. Going to see a genetics counsellor is definitely the right thing to do. If you want to read some medical articles you might like to consider this one: Just to avoid ambiguity – I am suggesting that by taking a look at some articles you may have some questions to ask the counsellor. I am not suggesting that reading articles will help you self-diagnose or are an alternative to professional advice. http://www.geneclinics.org/servlet/access?db=geneclinics & site=gt & id=8888891 & key=yvyThuThGZXK5 & gry= & fcn=y & fw=suti & filename=/profiles/bpes/index.html if you have time to read just one article Angel, the one above is the best. In fact, it may do no harm to send it to your counsellor with a note saying that the support group recommends this medical resource.# Take care and let us know how you get on.
