refraction tests for glasses

After taking Todd for his vision check today we had to make an

appointment for his refraction test to check his glasses prescription.

I felt this was urgent as he didn't seem to see the pictures during the

vision check - even though the optometrist thought he was playing

around. However the appointment we ended up with was not till May. As

I wasn't happy I've ended up asking our local opticians to do a test,

which they can do next week. However they really shouldn't do this on

the NHS as he is still officially a hospital patient! Hopefully this

will all be OK but the way I feel I don't mind if we do end up paying

for it. I am not sure what will happen in the long run, whether or not

we will still keep the May appointment but I am so unimpressed I wish

we didn't have to keep going to the hospital optometrist every 6

months. Sorry about the moan but I feel so frustrated
