Hi, just to but in on this about Mr Collin. I've heard that he's

retiring! Bipin was being seen by him but has now been moved to Mr

Hussain. I don't know if he's carrying on privately but last week

when we were at Moorfields one of the other doctors said he is

retiring. So if you're seeing him in August that may be one of his

last appointments! He's been at Moorfields for at least 30 years I

think - he operated on my husband and his brother about 28 years ago.

Hi

I think if they scheduled you an appointment with him he must still

be around till then. I think we have met Mr Hussain once and he seems

nice. Collin will definitely be missed, he's a real expert in the

field. I think just about all the other adnexal doctors there studied

under Collin though so I'm sure they have learnt from his experience.

Hi , good question! I was just using the term that they use at

Moorfields for the team that work on Bipin's eyes. Given Shireen's

definition I assume it means those that look at the shape of the

eyes - lids and eye openings etc... not very sure really. I'll ask

next time we're there!

Hi all interested

I have also just learned that Mr is retiring from occular

peadiatric work at Moorfields and almost had a heart attack

because we are just in the process of planning a first sling op for

our daughter Esme this year and we very much wanted him to operate.

Any way the good news is that he will still be seeing patients

privately at his Harley street clinic and performing all operations

privately.

Best wishes

Therese
