Guest guest Posted November 4, 2007 Report Share Posted November 4, 2007 Hello everyone I just got the results back from Belgium (via Genetic consultant in London) on my daughters genetic result. The doctors says they have a mutation or in english a slight mispelling in the DNA. Their result came back as BPES type 2. Other tests show hormone levels to be normal. My eldest who is 13 has now got regular periods. The doctors say infertility is not likely to be an issue with their BPES. Big relief for the family. We only discovered the link to infertility about 3 years ago and it has been more disturbing to me than their physical appearance. My eldest is scheduled to have her final surgery in December (Moorfield London same surgeon as before Abu Rayar). Will post new photo of the girls ASAP.
