's levels are sooooooo good IGG 950 with IVIG q 3 weeks and are considering stopping. But we're worried about his levels dropping again. Lucas has trough levels of 800-1100 but is still getting everything that comes his way. He has had three hospitalizations this year. He has also had a fever between each cycle of IVIG. I was hoping we could move to every 4 weeks this summer. But our doctor won't consider it. He says why have him go backwards when we can keep him stable with the IVIG. I know that different parts of the country deal with this differently. We do not have hot dry summers in the NWest so the risk of infections still remains high with a kid like Lucas who is so allergic. We had hoped we would have been off of the IVIG by now but it seems like we will be doing it for a while longer. We have been on it since he was 4 and he is 6 now. Just some thoughts.
