Guest guest
, Thanks for the info. Reading your posts on this group has made me feel much more confident that I am doing the right thing by persuing further diagnosis. I am glad that I will be seeing a Rheumatologist soon. I know that Osteo is not only for the old, but I don't fit into any of the other categories either, especially not athelete! My wife, who is my age (36), has osteo arthrits in her back and feet. Her knees are only a matter of time in my opinion. She was in drill-team in HS and they did some moves that were murder on the knees. Bummer about having to go 2 hours to see your doctor! I really hope the local clinic hires a new Rheumatologist soon. This is a community of over 100,000 people. I would think they would be able to find a replacement somehow! Also, the " other " health provider in town (this is basically a two HMO town) does have Rheumatologists on staff. It is just that my insurance is with the under-staffed clinic! Thanks again, Marty
