An idea (rather, hoping for some volunteers)

Dear members

Our group is great, isn’t it? I like the way it runs, and that

people are made welcome.

I was hoping to ask if any members felt like offering a bit of

time to help with the running of the group. There are some admin things that

need to take place. I do these,  and when I am away I ask some of the members

if they can help out, on an ad hoc basis.

However, I was wondering if people were willing to take a part

in helping to run the group.

If you are, please drop me a line.  Most of the tasks take about

1 hour a month, and are pretty easy to do. If I had about 6 volunteers, each

doing one task, that would help enormously. If people are away or end up not

able to commit, then I can ask somebody else to help out. This is not a

life-long commitment, instead, think of it as I’ll do this for about a year,

and then decide if I want to carry onâ€.
