Guest guest
Hi This group has more than 700 members. Amongst all the people, and all the different situations, there are women who can have children, and indeed go on to have children. I am not sure how that will help you just now. Probably what might help is for you to ask if any of your husband’s sisters have had genetic counselling carried out, or any tests. These things are private matters, and maybe this information is not available to you (in other words perhaps they may not want to share). If this is the case, you may like to ask your doctor to refer you to a geneticist with knowledge of this subject. This link will have some information for you: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/bookshelf/br.fcgi?book=gene & part=bpes and your geneticist will be able to use it as a basis for research. I hope this helps. I have 3 girls with BPES and I know it is possible that they will be inferfertile and I was wondering if there are any women here who has BPES and still have kids or if they are infertile. I am planning to do genetic testing as soon as I can so I can know for sure but my husband has 3 sisters with BPES and none have kids and they been trying for a baby well 2 of them.
