Guest guest
Yes, it will be worth your travel. Our daughter has had 3 operations with Dr. Katowitz Senior (his son also does the same kind of surgeries) We have been very pleased with him. Be prepared for a long wait in his office as he is a busy person. Also, if you ask his secretary, I believe there would be a motel close by that gives a big discount for patients of CHOP. Hope that helps!
Guest guest
Not to be to forward but I am wondering if I could see some pictures of before and after. Just want to make sure I am making all of the right decisions.

Guest guest
Just wondering if you have any picture of before and after. Just trying to make the correct decision on what to do. Please don't think I am being too forward. My daughter has BPES and is 7 months old, and currently hearing two totally different approaches from two different doctors. Guest guest
Hi,I was wondering what different approaches you have heard.  has had two operations by Dr. Katowitz.  The original sling operation and one corrective operation to remove the fallen sling.  The other opinions we had gotten were to wait on surgery.  I am just curious what course was suggested to you.  ThanksBest,Nina Tancredi blepharophimosis Re:Dr. Katowitz Yes, it will be worth your travel. Guest guest
The Doctors that I have spoken with in Michigan spoke of doing the surgeries in two definite surgeries. The narrowing of the nose at age one and the ptosis repair between 3 and 4. From what I understand this is opposite of Dr. Katowitz -- In blepharophimosis , nma420@... wrote: > > Hi, > > > I was wondering what different approaches you have heard.  has had two operations by Dr. Katowitz.  The original sling operation and one corrective operation to remove the fallen sling.  The other opinions we had gotten were to wait on surgery.  I am just curious what course was suggested to you.  Thanks > > > Best, > Nina Tancredi > > > > blepharophimosis Re:Dr. Katowitz > > > > > > Yes, it will be worth your travel. >

Guest guest
Thanks for your response. Dr. Katowitz did both procedures at once for . I prefer doing both at once so there aren't as many surgeries. I have heard that sometimes doing one can make the other look worse.
