Guest guest
If he was turned down on re-eval, you probably need to get an attorney who specializes in ssi and ssdi..Im not sure of the wording, but I DO know that the attorney would be able to help you.. I had a re-eval at 18 months, and they tried to send me to another doc to get a 2nd opinion, so I called the ssdi atty in town and he advised me what to do and what NOT to do( NOT to go and see THEIR DOC) and he helped me greatly and I was awarded continuation of my benefits... that would be my advice,, just see an atty! Good luck and let us know how it turns out! jaxnevoelz <steward1@...> wrote: I have searched through the messages and have not been able to findthis information. I know I have read somewhere that you need to usespecific wording to use on the SSI application. My husband had SSIand then was turned down after a three year review. What is thespecific wording he should use to re-apply? Thank you. Jackie
Guest guest
He had had SSI for a few yesrs due to the Crohns' disease that he has. He was going to be reviewed, and they cncelled the review. They started another review, and he went all the way through going before the judge and they told him he was no longer eligible for SSI. They want three years of benefits back. Since he is unable to work, they plan on taking 3 years of retirements benefits. He has now been diagnosed with Hep C and third of 4 stages of cirrohisis of the liver. I am hoping that will help him get the benefits back. I have read somewhere that you have to use a certain phrasing and that is what I am trying to find. He has for years said he wans't going to apply again, and now he is willing to try. Thank you for your response! > I have searched through the messages and have not been able to find > this information.
