Guest guest
Hello All, My son, who is four months old, has BPES as do I. Last week he was diagnosed with a congenital morgagni diaphragmatic hernia and had successful surgery to close the hernia. This was done at Stanley Children's Hospital in New York, where coincidentally a National Institutes of Health genetic study is underway on CDH. I alerted them to the BPES (though it's fairly obvious). I'm wondering if anyone else with BPES or with children with BPES also have had diaphragmatic hernias, either the most common left-sided presentations or the less common, right-side, morgagni hernia? Many thanks for any comments. Best regards, Libby
