Hi everyone,

Lacey had her second operation yesterday afternoon but still cannot open her

eyes. the surgeon did the inner and outer corners and also took the rods out

(due to an irritation). He told me that her lids may drop a bit due to having

no rods but should be ok for a few weeks until he puts them back in. However,

i'm a little concerned because she can't open her eyes at all. i keep bathing

them with sterile water, but still nothing. Is this normal for this operation

or should i be concerned. her surgeon is not back at work until Tuesday and i

can not bear the thought of her not being able to see until then...

Has anyone had the same experience?

Thanks

Her eyes are probably pretty swollen, each time my son had his inner corners done he was swollen shut for 2 days, Ice packs help a lot.
