In response to member protests, I have changed the settings to this group to allow new members to join. It is not my intention to punish the group or to force members to change if they are not interested.

The HealthShare Groups is a community center comprised of hundreds of other sub-groups for specific diseases and disorders. Members can share both in their own small sub-group, and/or with the entire support community. What HealthShare Groups offers is simply a more private setting and access to sharing with thousands of others dealing with many different health issues. Having the ability to share with other outside the "Blepharophimosis" community enables member to inform and educate others about the disorder. We have many health professionals and educators that are members of many other groups and the HealthShare Groups community brings us all together.

Members who wish to remain with this group may do so. No one is beginning forced to make the move.
