Guest guest
It is summer here, and we are putting Catalina, aka T, into swimming lessons in a few weeks. She is almost 3. Her doctor recommended that we have her in goggles any time we are in the pool, which we planned on anyways. We have had her in the pool with child standard goggles on (they have little Disney characters all over them). We have noticed that they tend to leave red weltish marks around her eyes (and they fog up before we even get to the pool). It looks extremely painful, but she doesn't cry and the marks go away in about an hour. We tried loosening the goggles a bit, but then it lets the chlorine water in. Does anyone know a good style or brand name of swim goggles we can look for? T has had the sling surgery and a replacement sling surgery a couple months ago, so they want us to be careful not to use one that will apply too much pressure to the slings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as she is a little water baby and wants to swim all the time. Ann Colorado USA
