I love that you shared this! Thanks for the tips. My eyelashes are very light in color and thin, I LOVE Trish McEvoy mascara, it's amazing.

Hey Ladies,I honestly don't mean to sound like a very typical vain teenager, but what do you think about finding suitable eye makeup? I was wondering if it was just me who found it paticularly difficult to find the right makeup techniques for having small eyes and even smaller eyelids.I must have spent hours on the internet trying to find tips and tricks to open up my eyes a bit, as well as products that wont irritate my eyes, especially after an operation! With my newfound freedom of having more noticable eyelids, a few I have found miraculous are :1. Waterproof eyeliner, using it all around the eye EXCEPT for the inner corners :) a little flick in the outer corners looks well too!2. Eyelash curler, my new best friend :)3. Neutral Eyeshadows - avoiding dark colours such as black.4. Almay Hypo-Allergenic Eye Makeup Remover Pads work wonders.Hope this helps anyone, and if anyone else has any tips I'd love

to hear from them, thanks!Best wishes,Maeve

HiI use kohl eyeliner. Also – I found that creamy shadows don’t work well, dry ones better. And I use baby wipes to remove makeup – I find it works very well and there is not chance of an fibres irritating my eyes. And they are cheaper. The also work well on removing foundation cream.Shireen London, England From: blepharophimosis [mailto:blepharophimosis ] On Behalf Of Beth GordonSent: 08 January 2011 12:45blepharophimosis Subject: Re: blepharophimosis Ladies, what do you think about eye makeup? Hiya Maeve darl,

Thanks for posting this one. I'm pushing 30 and I STILL have make up

issues.

I find mascara to be a no go, anything but clear really irritates my eyes.

I can never really get my makeup to look symmetrical, which makes me really

frustrated sometimes.

I've even go so far as asking the woman who was responsible for P!nk's makeup on

the Australian leg of the Fun House tour (Rae ) for tips. In my opinion

the tips were about as useful as a sick headache.

For the record her tips were...

~Don't close your eyes (how else are you going to know if it looks right)

and because I have almost no vision in my left eye she said to

~use two mirrors (one on an angle) so you can view the left hand side as well

as you can the right.

Tried both and it's still not working.

I've challenged the girls at the Napoleon Perdis outlet to make my eyes look

good and the outcome still didn't impress me.

I've found that anything much more than a tiny splash of colour near the top

lashes looks weird. ~On me~

If any of our ladies have good tips I'd LOVE to see a clip on youtube.

Thanks

Belinda in Brisbane Australia

HiI usually avoid all eye make up, not from sensitivity but i just can't get it to look any good. I do though occasionally use a white eyeliner; I think this does help to make my eyes look a little wider. I like the eyelash curler idea, I will give that a try.JenCanberra Australia--On 08/01/2011, at 11:45 PM, Beth Gordon <bethgordon03@...> wrote:

I tend to use a dark brown or black eyeliner (very sharp) and draw a very thin line over my upper lashes, if you then slightly thicken this on the outer corner and flick it out a little it has an opening effect to the eye.  If I am going out I will also use eyeshadow and again darken this on the outer corer of my lid and put a high lighter in the inner corner the lid.  I never put anything under y eye as they are so watery it goes everywhere and makes a mess J I am no beautician but it seems to work From: blepharophimosis [mailto:blepharophimosis ] On Behalf Of Jen linSent: 11 January 2011 09:38blepharophimosis Cc: blepharophimosis Subject: Re: blepharophimosis Ladies, what do you think about eye makeup?
