Guest guest
Hey Guys, Don't know if my daddy was ever on this (he wasn't great with technology), unfortunately he suddenly died two weeks ago from a fatal heart attack, but he was very proud to have BPES and always told me and my brother to embrace it, as we all should. I don't know if it was because of the BPES connection, but he had lost the sight in one eye and had cataracts (unsure of the spelling) removed. Just thought I'd let you's know about him, I know it doesn't have much relevance, but I think the fact that he was so proud of who he was, was an inspiration, his exact words were : " remember, you are beautiful, never feel like you should have to change for anyone else, let it be their own problem, so be yourself, because i didn't raise a stranger " Thats what he said the night before my operation, so I thought I would let you guys think about those words, because I don't think I could've said it better myself, and I hope to put up pictures of him maybe when I get the chance sometime. Thanks for reading this & #9829; Maeve, 15, Ireland. RIP O'Keefe (Daddy) 20th February 1953 - 28th July 2010
