Guest guest
Good Afternoon All! My daughter had an EKG done the other day and it came back abnormal and we are to see a Pediatric Cardiologist on Tuesday. My husband's mother is a nurse and suggested that maybe it could be related to her Blepharophimosis? I don't think this could be the case as I am sure I doctors would have examined this years ago. They only checked it now because of a medication that she was going to be taking to control her ADHD. Has anyone else experienced any sort of heart defects or abnormalities that the doctors associated with the Bleph? I am holding confidence that the test is wrong and my beautiful daughter is fine and trying to put my mind at ease until we see the dr on Tuesday. It would be hard to imagine that if she in fact has had heart irregularities as they are suggesting they would have not been noticed during the handful of surgeries she has had. I contacted her dr's who performed the surgeries and he pulled the cardiac paper from her file and he said he sees nothing abnormal on them. Anyone with insight or experienced anything similar please respond!
