Dear ,

We have missed you and your funny stories. We are thrilled for you that

you have gotten to PCRU. Sorry to hear about the fires. Sue has been keeping

me up to date and said they were packed and ready to leave, but there was a wind

shift and they got to stay, but they know people who have lost everything. What

can you say but that the person who is responsible should have a pox on them for

such an evil thing.

I hope you thought of us while you were celebrating down below. I would even

settle for apple cider if it were me. LOL. I hope your husband is on the mend

and can function without the wheelie walker, or whatever you call it.

Cheers to you ,

Lottie

Hi Lottie,

Yes these fires have touched everyone - we all know someone who has perished

be it through another friend or relative, it is truly horrible. I believe

the fire stories have been on front page news all over the world and as for

the mongrels who deliberately lit the fires, well the devil will have his

own recourse with them, if our firies don't get them first.

It is terrible in 1 community where they believe 1 in 5 people have been

incinerated or vapourised such was the strength and ferocity of the fire

with temps of well over 1000 c and was deliberately lit. I have all my major

stuff on my laptop and external hard drive, so that is the two main things I

would take with me, plus of course my beloved dogs.

Have any of you seen the stunning video of Sam the koala as she was given a

drink by one of our firies?

Greg has improved a lot and has been able to ditch his wheelie walker which

is great and hopeful of getting his drivers license back soon.

I can say that we certainly had a good celebration Lottie with quite a few

toasts throughout the night LOL!

Yes, that video of Sam was so touching! They played it on " BBC World News. " The

whole thing just boggles the mind. You just keep thinking, why, WHY would anyone

do this? I'd like to thing the perpetrator(s) had no idea that what was intended

as a prank turned so monstrous and deadly. It just rips your heart out. I'm so

glad to hear you are safe.

Wow , the Aussie fires continue to amaze me. Both my brothers are firemen

and i often worry about their safety in the industrial complex here. Your fires

are so horrible it is hard to imagine whole towns vaporized. Such a terrible

loss. Yes i did see the koala getting water from a 'firie.'. Hope the

tenderness remains after witnessing such suffering.

God bless you all. Stay safe!

Are you a CML er?

Give us more information about yourself. It sounds like you may need some
