Guest guest
I know that you said you have tried every natural antiviral substance, does that include collodial silver (CS)? Tea tree oil? Australian lemon myrtle oil? The last two came from wikipedia. CS is always my first treatment for any virul, bacterial, and fungal infection. Also, your reference to the trampoline, for lymph stimulation? If so, have you tried homeopathic lymph treatments, such as Lymphosot? My son (7yrs old) has over 70 lesions, my daughter(8ys old) about 20. My son was the 1st to get it and has had it since NOV of last year...8 months now. I HAVE done every, natural antiviral substance I can find, have read about, was told to try. I brought my children to the Dermatologist yesterday and they want me to use Aldara. I've even purchased and used some ozonated olive oil topically. I am now leaning towards purchasing a trampoline and to up our juicing to everyday. Any input ? Especially on the Aldara ? Guest guest
The Wikipedia article had a bunch of " treatments " . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molluscum_contagiosum I'm wondering, since it's a virus, if megadoses of vitamin C would help the body clear it. They're supposed to be very effective against viruses. --- In , " michelle5s " <ms5smith@...> wrote: > > Hi all.... > > SIGH....... Guest guest
Yes, I have been to Wikipedia and resourced all of their treatments listed and I'm even pursuing someone who will use a 585nm pulsed dye laser on them...just as they did in a study that was conducted on 19 children with a 96% - 99% success of total healing of the lesions with only 1 treatment and no side effects. Yes, I have done collodial silver (CS) for 3 weeks, Tea tree oil for 2 1/2 weeks ... and while I haven't used Australian lemon myrtle oil I have read much about it and have asked people who have used it...I don't think it would be antiviral enough. I have also used oregano oil, ozonated olive oil, a zapper device, coconut oil, " Viral Stop " supplements, and way to many more to remember off the top of my head. The trampoline is to increase their body/blood oxygen levels...as a virus is anaerobic. I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on Aldara. I REALLY don't " do " med.s if I know I can avoid them. I just can't find a lot of info online about Aldara...just that the mechanism by which it works is " unknown " . I have read about achieving good results with it, but I want to know at what cost. Perhaps I will not find that out. But if someone here can give me ANY input ... I am all ears. Thanks Guys! > > > > Hi all.... > > > > SIGH....... Guest guest
Hi , This must be really tough for you. To oxygenate the blood, I recommend ChlorOxygen Chlorophyll Concentrate. It is extracted from English Stinging Nettle. It is a liquid and was recommended to me for poison ivy and the hives that resulted from taking a taper pack to treat the poison ivy. The cure was worse than the problem! I usually try to drink 36 drops per day in my water. I add 12 drops to a glass of water morning, noon, and afternoon. Each 36-drop dose delivers 100 milligrams of chlorophyll. A few weeks ago, my 13 year old male neutered cat was really sick. His blood numbers were very bizarre. A friend muscle tested him and recommended giving him some greens. I gave him the ChlorOxygen twice a day for 3 days because drops were easier to administer, especially since he already wasn't eating. I noticed a difference immediately. Might want to check the strength of the CS. I've noticed there are some really weak solutions on the market, like 5 and 10 ppm. I use 200 ppm on myself, my dogs, cats, and horses. It pretty much stops everything in its tracks. Did you do it orally and topically? The other thing about CS is there is alot of trash on the market, so make sure you get a quality product. Guest guest
Hmmm. Anaerobic. Maybe a baking soda paste. When I used to use it for deoderant I had to stop because it dried out my skin so badly that it started peeling off in sections, which was unattractive! So it could dry it out and alkalize the area at the same time. Just a thought, at least it's cheap! > > > > > > Hi all.... > > > > > > SIGH....... Guest guest
Dear Tracey, I looked up molluscum contagiosum at the Mayo Clinic website. There is a paragraph in which is stated that the disorder may also be seen in adults with an altered imune system. I guess we have to be really cautious because of our immune system. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/molluscum-contagiosum/DS00672 It's impossible to live in a bubble, so in some instances we will be subjected and perhaps " catch " what others have. I can tell you that I have lived through some hairy episodes. I had MRSA and within a very short time was diagnosed with mycobacterium chelonae, which is a lung infection and this past December, was hospitalized with c-difficile, another super bug which kills 35% of the people who contract it. A few years prior to that, I was diagnosed with shingles as well. I didn't know what it was, but the doctor noticed it and said that I had shingles on my arm. Taking extra precautions and finding the right doctors to treat you will almost guarantee that you will survive. We'll keep our fingers crossed that you don't " catch " it from your daughter. Blessings, Lottie
Guest guest
Hi Molluscum contagiosum is a viral infection of the skin passed on from skin to skin contact. My son whom HAS NOT had the MMR vaccine, caught molluscum contagiosum about 5 years ago as did several other children at the local pools where my son did weekly swimming. (children mucking around during swimming lessons ) Infact my son had a mild case compared with his peers who did HAVE the MMR vaccine. My son did naturally catch chicken pox as a baby. My doctor did wonder about a possible link as its pox family as such. I know it's a pox and in the small pox or measles family. Is this a relatively new virus and can it have been made my the MMR vaccine by any chance? Thanks,

Guest guest
Thanks Nic, I am a little worried about my daughters getting it. They have not been vaccinated but have come in contact with 2 kids that have it. These kids were vaccinated. Did you do anything to help heal the molluscum? Guest guest
Molluscum can be CURED with Classical Homeopathy. My niece had it when she was little and they wanted to "burn" it off. Guest guest
I would start NOW with upping my child's Vitamin D levels and Vitamin C levels and Vitamin B spectrum levels. These are the natural ways of improving immunity; vaccinating with good health - if you will <g>. Going out in the sun without sunscreen and taking Vit.D3, eating citrus fruits and taking vit.C, eating whole grains and taking B vitamins. If you want to also address the immunity issue thru herbals then start taking weight adjusted Astragalus and possibly Golden Seal if you KNOW the children have been exposed and show symptoms of fighting a virus(such as having a low grade fever). I use the amounts on the bottles and dose by weight. Herbs for Kids is a good reputable herbal company for kids herbs. Do not eat sugary foods. Do not eat pasteurized dairy products such as drinking cow's milk. Do not eat white grains such as breads, donuts, pastas, bagels, etc... Increase consumption of fruits and vegetables and pastured meats and wild caught fish. These bring on health in abundance and increase immunity to ALL diseases. If the child comes down with the illness, I'd see the homeopath also. But oftentimes the immune system will kick the illness out before manifesting itself on the skin, which is its job. - Arlynn
Guest guest
Thanks Arlynn, That is pretty much their diet at all times. Except we don't do gluten. They have been out in the hot sun everyday without sunscreen and taking acerola powder in their shakes mixed with kefir and sea green, eggs yolks, flax and fermented cod liver oil/butter oil. They drink water kefir and kombucha everyday as well. We don't do pasterized dairy or sugar and we eat bone broths a couple times a week. They really never get sick besides the occasion runny nose. Molluscum just seems so horrible because I read it can last for over a year. I'm also 7.5 months pregnant so I don't want to catch a virus like that. Hopefully their diet is well enough to fight the virus enough to not even see signs of it! Guest guest
Hi , I hope this helps ease your fear, but my unvaccinated daughter caught this when she was two and a half (she's 8 now). At that time I had not yet discovered homeopathy, so I treated the lesions with a mix of organic coconut oil and oil of oregano. I had also heard/read all the horror stories about how long the virus would last, but from start to finish it lasted about 3 weeks, with no scarring, never to return. No one else in our household "caught" it either despite sharing towels, sleeping in the same bed, etc. We have a similar diet as you. Guest guest
I am so glad someone posted this! My son has these two bumps on his face near his nose and I have been wondering what they were. Then he developed two more near his armpit. I was just about to go to the dermatologist to see what this was. I looked at some photos and pretty sure that is what he has. They are fairly small, thank God! He just started swim team again at the YMCA a month ago... I saw that is a common place to pick it up... Wonderful!!! Do you know what your niece took? I read someone saying they put cotton balls of apple cider vinegar on each one and applied a band aid. Going to try that until I find out what else to do! They said it cleared in 3 weeks. Yuck...
