Guest guest
Thanks for the article Tracey. I don't have too many side effects from gleevec, the usual periorbital edema and a bit of fatigue. But I do get some eye mild unconfort right after taking the pills. Teary eyes (not too often, getting better), often a mild burning sensation that last for ~1h, red eyes, a bit of a blurry vision ~1h after the pill, and also poor night vision to the point I was avoiding driving at night (getting much better). I mentioned it to the dr without getting more than a shrug. If it gets worse I ll bring a print of the paper to the dr :-) Marcos. Guest guest
I have to say my vision was good with Gleevec, now horrible with Sprycell, driving me nuts, using readers for everything close up. chris **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. Guest guest
Hi Marcos, You might try taking your Gleevec before going to bed. Guest guest
I used to take it in the morning but I find it easier at lunch as it's my most regular and unhurried meal, and I prefer having my little 1h slump early afternoon around lunch break than being tired from the morning. Dinner for me is anywhere between 5pm and 2 am, depending on what I am doing, so that doesn't work. My side effects are in general very mild, it's a bit slow getting some muscle and condition back, but it could be I am not 20 anymore ;-) On that score yesterday I was working on a boulder problem at the gym, graded v4, when a kid, ~12 ?, just flashed it :-o. I saw him on a v7 (expert level) later. Bouldering has a young crowd with few above 30 but that was a bit unusual. I managed to send the v4 problem later, honor's safe ;-) I am pretty far from even thinking about v7. Marcos. Guest guest
Every time I take anything to help my body fight the Lymes and coinfections, my vision is affected....blurred and sometimes double vision (verticle not horizontal). When I stop taking the stuff...whatever...my vision seems to clear. Several doctors have agreed there is an acupunture point on/in the liver that affects the eyes and when the detox starts, it can affect the eyes. I went to a cranial osteopathic DO last week and the following day, my eyes were crystal clear. When I am tired...they get some blurred but not as before. He the DO, said I might get worse before better which I was prepared for. I feel better. Now the DO did only cranial sacrial work. He did not do anything aimed at lymes etc. ________________________________ From: <canefan18@...> Sent: Tue, August 10, 2010 9:55:38 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Blurred Vision Well mine isn't fuzzy vision... It's blurred vision. Like it goes in and out of focus. Seems to be something internal going on... as oppose to dryness. but I appreciate the help. i may ask my optometrist > Anybody here have/had a bad case of blurred vision and cured it? > > > It's my most annoying symptom and I sort of judge my success around it. > > > > > >
