Guest guest
is # 1149 in the Zero Club. All you need is to attain CCR to get a number in the Zero Club. MMR (3-log reduction) and PCRU come after you hit the CCR milestone. Zavie The following is Dr. Druker's opinion. Thanks to Lottie for posting the transcript of his talk. What do I consider a good response? There's a 3-log reduction. Any time you get it, it is a great place to be. Six months, 1 year, 2 years, that's a great place to be.The risk of relapse is a half percent per year, and it decreases over time. So at a half percent per year, that means that at 10 years, 5% of people in that category would relapse. With a complete cytogenetic response to Philadelphia chromosome negative, there is a 2% risk of relapse per year, and by year 4 of maintaining that response, it declines to a half percent per year. So my view is that a stable complete cytogenetic response is equal to this 3-log reduction. Zavie where is that Club Number ? !!!!! Well what a journey you have had - this news warms the heart. Hope Greg is also doing A-OK ---------------------------------------------------------- Fires My love goes out to your son - he may come back a different man after the fires - each State sending in reinforcements. Our State is sending in a war forensic team to verify bodies. Your son is definetly a local hero and I wish him well n Fires More than 108 now dead - many did not have time to flee Whole surburbs have disappeared overnight More than a 1000 homes destroyed Many Missing Many more injured Stock and crops now destroyed Emergency services and army guys now taking charred bodies out of vehicles - whole families lost. God Help Those poor souls Another State of Tasmania - has had over 50 dead over a 3 day period mostly elderly people from heat exhaustion - the worst in that state in history - temperatures were rising to high 40's and apparently as older people were starting to have problems were going into shock and put on warmer clothes for the chills. A few who missed the knobs of the split air conditioners instead of turning the cool on put heat on instead. Where I live on the other side of Australia temps have been in high 40's every couple of weeks then go back down again - this week fingers crossed no fire bugs are out and about - there will be that high temperature range again. Love to your family - Keep safe Sue (Aussie)
