Guest guest
Dear Aloha Sharon, O'Neal has managed to make a mess of his life and his children's. The most dysfunctional family in America. I saw a TV show where his daughter, Tatum was being interviewed before she was arrested for another drug charge and she said her dad was cured of leukemia. I wonder how long it had been since she saw her dad. I don't think there is any comparison between he and Hamilton, and I think you would agree that although he was a heartthrob when he made that movie with Ali McGraw, he has since fallen from grace. None of us knew anything about leukemia back then, but it was typecast as being like in the movie when Ali was diagnosed, where you died soon after you were diagnosed. We were all left in the dark about what kind it was and what was even stranger is we didn't know there was more than one kind. People don't take the time to do their homework when they make a movie or write a medical story to even bother to research the subject they are reporting about. We had to find out the hard way. LOL. As to what is doing now, he has a small role in " Bones " , playing a runaway, detached father who is serving time in jail and who wants to have a relationship with his daughter who doesn't really want to see him. It's a very small recurring role. Sad to see someone make such a mess of their lives. Well, we have our memories of how it was back then. Blessings as we face a new week and thankfully Mardi Gras will be over soon, Lottie
