Trying to stay positive . Once they stopped my Interferon, everything came back down. Your liver can rejuvenate itself, unlike other organs. Try to stay positive until you see what they want to do. Maybe Gleevec is not the choice for you, but I do agree that you should be checked more often. I did not follow as to when you were diagnosed or how long you have been on Gleevec. I hope your seeing a doctor who specializes in CML. I have found that some doctors are not up on these new treatments. Just have faith that it will all resolve itself. When I started Gleevec in 2000, there was no other choice. It had to work for me or I do not know what I would have done. I see so many people doing good on Tasigna and Sprycel. Now that they know target therapy works, there will be even newer and better treatments. They are working on something new everyday.
