Good morning to all,

I havent received many e-mails in several days, but did

get several today.. I see that many post back and forth to those that must

be "oldies" on here.

Since I have a different liver problem, I guess

I will stop posting on here. I don't seem to have much in common with the

group, I guess.

I was wondering if anyone in their fifties would like

to chat with me on instant message or an e-mail?.I guess I am just depressed

today.

I really need to get a life.. LOL But don't get me wrong. I am just glad

to be alive each day.. Just get lonely and worry to much about my health..BTW,

I just turned 59 yesterday and I guess not handling getting older too well.

I worry about what next is going to fall apart or get diseased.. Sorry

to be so depressing.!!

I wish you all a nice day and have a nice weekend.

Lyn, I don't know what liver problem you have, but you have at least

one thing in common...occasional depression. We all have our days,

some more than others...lol. I must be opposite of most; I tend not

to post when the depression hits. Doesn't make sense, I know. I like

to be different. You can email me anytime at homeatrl@....

I've tried to change it so it shows, but haven't had any luck yet.

Computers and me don't get along so well. Hope things get better for

you. Laurie

Lyn,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I'm the friend that usually is very obnoxious to

people on their birthday but I think I'm going to cut you a break.

I'm in a good mood because today is my daughter's 22nd birthday and

she just called me. I had called her earlier. You probably don't

need to hear all of that.

So, you're an Aries!! I know all about your kind :?) Are you as

oppinionated as my daughter? Set in your ways? Oh, how I could go

on.

I'm sorry your feeling left out. I feel that way too sometimes and I

do have AIH. Please don't take it personally. I guess we all just

get caught up in our on stuff and tend to talk back to those who talk

to us. I usually only read the stuff to me. I guess that's not very

cool. Please don't quit coming here. It doesn't matter what liver

disease you have. The feelings are the same.

I hope your day is a little better.

Hugs,

Debbie/FL

I think it is worth giving your Rheumy a chance to try appropriate

treatment. While genetic markers are evident in some patients, it is

not always the case. Nonetheless, the treatment protocols would be

very different for fibro than for PA, and you will be able to tell

by the results whether the diagnosis was on track. And there are

cases where folks have PA AND Fibro, as I understand. My rheumy has

a small practice and he still sees a fair number of PA patients. In

my area (Metro-Detroit), there are a number of rheumatologists,

however, they all get a reputation for expertise in different

areas. It may be that your doc is known for having a good record

with PA patients, thus he attracts more than average. Just food for

thought. D

Norma,

Have you tried any other formulations? Is there a possibility that

it could be some other ingredient in the Berry Keen that he's having

the reaction to? How about flax seed oil or other non-fish

supplements - have you tried any of those? Just throwing out some

ideas...

Sometimes when you post late in the evening, it does take an overnight

to get some replies. Also, as long as I have been with this group

(2.5 years) weekends have been slower than weekdays. And try to make

sure you put a subject in the subject line. It calls people's

attention better. Hope this helps.

Dear Eva,

I agree with the rest of the group.  I have had CML for 3 1/2 years with many

ups and downs.  I still see my onocologist every two months for a check and

routine blood work.  I get chest xrays every couple of month for plural

infusions because I am on sprycel and that is a side effect.  He does a PCR

every other visit.  My counts continue to be fantastic but I still need to be

watched.  I know when my counts were not so good I would freak out too but there

is so much out there to help us.  BUT, I feel it is important to be kept under

close watch.  If you are not satisfied with your doctor, it might be time for a

change.  Ask a lot of questions, it is your right to know and if they don't

answer to your satisfaction ask them to explain again.  You have to be your own

advocate.  Drs. are not infalible even though I have met some that think they

are.  I have also met wonderful doctors in this journey of living with cml.  BE

FORCEFUL AND ASK

QUESTIONS is my moto
