Guest guest
I combine taebo with a treadmill and free weights every other day. I do the advanced on the other days and do a step workout every Sunday. It challenges more muscles this way. LIsa----who also has 4 kids and they also do Taebo. Before we came down with the flu and the rains had not started we were doing Tae Bo in the morn and going for a bike ride in the afternoons. And we do lift weights four days a week. Now that the roads are dry it is time to hit the bikes again. Your workout sure does sound great! Candace
Guest guest
You go girl! I will be in your corner!!! Debby [ ] Thanks everyone!! Hello to everyone! You came through for me when I needed you and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I dont usually get to upset over things, try to laugh at most everything, love people in general, but when I get my dander up....LOOK OUT WORLD!! In this case, look out doctors!! I remember when the doctor finally put a name on this disease. I told him, " well, since it is uncommon...you wont find anything common about this patient either.. because I am special!!" He laughed at that one. Well, he needs a wake up call and this is the woman who is going to wake him up!! He may not want to be my doctor afterwards... but then I dont know as I want him right now anyway... so...(((putting on boxing gloves)))... (((putting in mouthpiece)))....((smearing vaseline all over my face))) am headed to see gastro!!! My appointment is may 6....by that time I should be able to do it huh? ((giggle)) Lovingly Marcy

Guest guest
Thanks everyone for all the messages of support. I appreciate your honesty and support. Fonse and I take it one day at a time. I keep a basket the size of a small laundry basket for him stocked with small pudding cups and healthy fruit cups, applesauce cups and the freezer stocked with low sugar ice cream sandwiches. He likes the snacks, needs the extra weight and the calcium and antioxidants don't hurt. Today we signed up at the local YMCA with the open doors policy membership (really low cost) and have a meeting with personal trainer (DRU) on wednesday to help Fonse develop a program to get fit around any possible side effects of medicine. Dru is special because he developed a fitness program for survivors of breast cancer for women in on County, TN. We are very excited about this as it will also help both of us get better sleep at night. Fonse and I average about 4-6 hours a night if that and that is with him taking Zolpidem 10 mg. (Ambien). That should knock a horse out but he still has probs. I am thinking a spinning class would work better and Zumba for me. Yeah you are right (all of you) Leukemia is not the end -- only a path to remission and that just takes renewed determination. Hmmmm maybe Leukemia was a door that opened us up to new possibilities in life --- kinda makes you go hmmmmmmm Take care guys Lots of hugs Judy and Fonsie
