Guest guest
Dear Judy and Fonsie, Thank you for introducing yourselves to us and at such an early stage of Fonsie's CML journey. Its unfortunate that you lacked insurance, but you have found a way, and that is what we have to do. When one door closes, another opens. It seems bad news just hung over your head until a real diagnosis was made and at least you knew where to go from there. Fonsie must have been an extremely sick man from your description. If you have had the opportunity to read the posts here, you will know that things do get better. You have a plan, and that is good to set goals for yourselves. I'm sure you will see them come to fruition. We are here for you 24/7. I was diagnosed over 12 years ago, and we have some members who were diagnosed before me. Things are looking up for us and prospects are getting better all the time with the advent of new treatments. Never give up. Our grandson and his wife and 2 girls live in Knoxville. It is truly beautiful up there in the Smokies, are you anywhere near there. Annie lives in Soddy Daisy and lives in TN also, perhaps closer to Nashville than Soddy Daisy, I don't have a map before me. We also have members in AL and GA. Best wishes, Lottie
