Guest guest Posted August 12, 2002 Report Share Posted August 12, 2002 i was just diognosed with stills disease in june of this year after a year of lymphagnopothy. i ended up having a paracardial effusion in april of this year which lead to my having a few emergency paracardial windows put in. after that i developed pluracy of the lungs which was when stills disease was diognosed. from what ive read from the research i've done, mostly stills effects the joints than everything else. i mean i have stiff hips, knees, elbos and lower back all the time, but all of my organs are swelling up too. i was wondering if anyone else is going through this at this time, my liver function is up too, wich sux cuz i cant take the mobic which was helping a lot with the pain from my heart and lungs swelling and ive been on 30mg of prednisone for a month, back in june i was on 60mg, i feel like im just bitching now so im gunna shut up, but thanx for letting me into your group.
