Guest guest
Dear Rhonda, How dare you insinuate that just because I am 80, I don't have hormone problems? LOL Found out Lasix gives me hot flashes. Anyone else have that as a side effect? I think you should ask for another doctor, it's done all the time. Can you get your hormones checked to see if there is any truth to what she is saying? Over time, I think any drug will eventually cause side effects. When Gleevec made it's debut, everyone clamored for it because it was said it had no side effects. Anyone who has been on Gleevec or any cancer drug for several years would debate that. Some people sail through Sprycel, but many, like you have a difficult time. When I was in the BMS trial, the first thing that happened to me was the terrible headaches, bone and joint aches and fever. When I called the clinic, they said I should go to the hospital. Your doctor wants you to ignore it? Maybe she needs a refresher course, or an attitude adjustment. If we were all clones, we could expect to all have the same results and/or side effects. Stop bad mouthing me, or I will leave early and go beat you up about the head and shoulders before you leave for your vacation. LOL On second thought, all is forgiven, wouldn't want to disappoint Lili. Blessings anyway, Lottie
Guest guest
How about this for an oncologist! I asked my onc a question one day and he said, why ask me, why don't you ask Talpaz, he's the expert isn't he? Another time he asked why i even see him at all, if Talpaz is my onc. At that time I needed a local onc. for the trial I was in. I don't for this trial, but have to see this jerk once a year in order to get my labs done there. Guest guest
OMG it sounds like this doc is related to mine. She will be going on Maternity leave in the next few months so I will definitely have a new onc.
