Dear Avis,

I know there was a black box warning that was supposed to be on

Aranesp/Procrit packages, but I never see the box, as I never gave myself the

shots. It is possible to buy it through a prescription, and even though it

would be less than getting it at a doctor's office, it would still be expensive.

I asked in the infusion department of they gave shots and they said yes, but the

patient had to be on a chemo infusion. I do know while I was gettting the

shots, I never needed a transfusion. Please post the 800 number so we can

access the most current information. Thanks.

Blessings,

Lottie
