Guest guest
Hi Barb, What are 'blood factors' for PA? I haven't heard of it. Do you mean an elevated sed rate which is non-specific for inflammation? I have PA and psoriasis but my psoriasis is limited to all the places you can't readily see. I don't have any on my limbs but had lots on my scalp and some on my trunk. By the way, nail pits are characteristic for psoriatic arthritis especially for the finger joints of the nails with the pits. I was suspicious that all my joint and tendon problems might be PA and when I noticed nail pits, I went to Mayo Clinic where the diagnosis was confirmed and I started on oral gold (I'm on Neoral now). Take care. Z.
Guest guest
Dear , Wow, what a story you have to tell. I'm happy that your blood is at a good place and also your CML. You are doing the right thing in working in tandem with your doctors (and being monitored closely) in excluding Gleevec for some time and not trying it on your own. Maybe your vacation will be extended for an indefinite period. We can all hope, so all best wishes go out to you. Blessings, Lottie
