Guest guest
Re:New to Group Hello, . Try looking at " CML Links " on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's website. Here's the link: http://cml.tlls.org/CMLApp/Controller There are many things there that are helpful to CML patients, both newly diagnosed and those who have been living with CML for awhile. Also on the LLS site under " free materials " is a booklet " Understanding Lab and Imaging Tests " which you can download or ask to have sent to you. Or you can just read it on your computer. All the different tests are explained in it. You can find it here: http://www.leukemia-lymphoma.org/attachments/National/br_1216925469.pdf If you want to print it on your printer, you can. You can order it from this page: http://www.leukemia-lymphoma.org/all_mat_req_index.adp?b_type=2 & item_id=11203 There are booklets on CML also for patients and caregivers. The LLS website is very helpful and is worth your while taking some time to explore it. You can have a live chat with someone and get a First Connection for you and/or your daughter with someone who matches your situation and who has been through what you are going through. All information there is reliable. My very best to you and your daughter, Virginia Garnerdx 1997Gleevec since 1999PCRU I'm fundraising to help find a cure for cancer.
