Hi folks, I'm off to Ann Arbor today with my daughter Colleen.  My appointment

with Dr. Talpaz is not until tomorrow, but we are meeting Len and Ernie for

dinner tonight. I hope this visit is to set up the Ariad trial in the near

future, I have been on vacation from meds since the first week of Feb.  Will

keep you posted , and Barb, good on 'ya for being a spokesperson for all the

cmlers!  Blessings, Bobby

Hi every one, I'm back from 3 days at Ann Arbor, it sure is tedious siting

around a hospital for 9 hours waiting to get a blood draw every 2 hrs. with an

ekg!! Not really complaining, I had a great time with Len Paschal, we went to

the mall and each got an electric cart, and watch out everyone, here come two

old gals in a hurry to shop!!

Labs were great: wbc - 3.8; hgb - 9.4; hem - 28.6; plt - 190; basil % - .5; abs.

basil count - .0

also had cholesterol done: chol - 125; trig - 203 - hdl 42, ldl - 43.

The nurse said if I exercised the trig. would go down, now that sounds real

painful!!! But I have been on Crestor since last May when I started the XL

trial, and chol. was 270 something, so I'm doing better.

what does this mean? >190 mg/dl very high? and how do I get it low?

I have no serious side effects. I am exhausted by bedtime, with doing nothing to

speak of, but sleep like a baby. I have some aches and pains, but as I said

before, this could just be the old arthritis kicking up, or 79 years of real

good living!!

Anyway, so far, I like this drug. Can't wait to get the results from the last

bma/bmb and the comparison with the first one, will keep you posted. Blessings

to everyone, love, Bobby
