hi eva

don't sweat it girl last year i ended up in the hospital withyellow stools

for over two months

i'm not recomending this for you but i never went off the gleevec and i

drank large amounts of blessed tistle tea and it worked " K " gave me lots of

corrage to hang in ther cicci you? no such animal we all freak this is a

rollercoaster ride i've had 3 sinus infections one after the other and the

pains?

let not even go there: but still here kicking the phylie's but so be strong sis

don't freak ther's somthing out there that will make u well and you'll be

dancing the gleevec rock agin.

Hi Eva:  Will keep you in my prayers for your blood work and scan.  Just

remember that your liver can bounce back to normal function most of the time.

Hi Eva,

I really think you should get a new doctor. She is absolutely wrong about the

other drugs.

We have had a couple of members over the years who developed liver toxicity on

Gleevec. Some of them overcame the problem by using Prednisone and others just

switched to Sprycel which did NOT cause the same liver toxicity that Gleevec

did.

If you want to get in touch with someone who switched to Sprycel because Gleevec

caused liver toxicity let me know and I'll put you in touch with them. I

haven't spoken with them in a while but I do remember that Sprycel worked

fantastic with no liver problems at all.
