Guest guest
Dear Eva, We have all been Fraidy Cats, and more than once. I know of several people who had problems with their liver, but they took several vacations and eventually got to PCRU, still on Gleevec. When I started the trial I am in, I had terrible hives in my face and upper body, stopped for 3 weeks at a time and would go back to my same dosage. I think your liver is just trying to get adjusted. If that doesn't work, there are other drugs they can put you on. I felt pain in my shin bones (tibia) before I got up this morning, and I said to myself, " Praise the Lord, it's working to kill the phillies. " We don't know exactly what these TKI's are doing all of the time and exactly how and where they work, but just imagine where we would all be without them. Just hang in there Eva, I look at it as though it were a giant overhaul of my body parts. LOL Blessings, Eva, that rainbow is just around the corner.
