Guest guest Posted January 14, 2008 Report Share Posted January 14, 2008 I am the mother of a 4 year old with and he was diagnosised about 6 months ago We started the prendisone treatment at the same time He was doing well with the steroids and his fever episode went from 7 days to 1 day but now the prendisone does not seem to be doing the trick We just went to the doctor today because Riley has had a fever on and off for almost a week and this time the gave us an antibiotic for a possible throat infection because he had puss on the back of his throat However from reading other messages this seems to be common for some kids to experience with and fever episode Has anyone experienced this and does anyone have any advise about the next course of treatment We just had a new baby and it is pretty stressful to take care of sick child and a newborn Please help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
