Guest guest
Hi Fia's Mom, It's so good to hear that your daughter takes these fevers in stride. One of the most difficult things for me as the parent of a kid is thinking my son may miss out, especially as he gets older. Sounds like your daughter proves that doesn't have to be the case. So, thank you for sharing! For the testing I need to look at our records. Off the top of my head I know that my son always had an incredibly high CRP during episodes. I've also read that many kids have high sed rates, though that wasn't the case for us. In terms of the symptoms, my son sounds the same with the exception of the hives. I was under the impression that rashes/hives are not part of the " typical " profile.
Guest guest
Hi, My daughter was diagnosed with last year when she was eight. We decided to have a tonsillectomy within 4 months of having her diagnosis. It was the best decision we have ever made (knock on wood). She had one episode 4 months after the surgery and that is it. I know it can be scary but it worked for my daughter. K. Tom
