Guest guest
Colloidial silver (I think I spelled it wrong) should help with the infection. Ask at you local heatlh food store for the highest quality. It is more expensive, but the cheap ones don't really work. Just swish it around in your mouth. You can start before you have the tooth out. Guest guest
I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but no lie one of Dr. Cathcarts biggest pushes with vitamin C was in regards to how it totally will pull you out after being under anesthetics and help the healing process. I'm sure he has something on it on his website, or maybe do a google search for it. I'm almost positive this is something there is supporting documentation on too.Kari Dentist visit I am having a local shot for the removal, but most forms of anesthesia make me ill. Just wondering if there is some preparation I can do to help get this over with quicker....and heal the raging infection! Thanks Hanida

I am one of those strange people that reacts badly to high doses of Vitamin C. I can take maybe 1000 mg a day and that is it. I am not sure if that will be enough to help. I was under the impression that you had to take high doses to get the benefits you are talking about. I will do a search and find out. thanks, Hanida

I have tried spacing them out all day long, and ended up sick all day long. Now that it takes nothing at all to upset my stomach, I am kind of leery to try it again. My daily multi vitamin has C in it, but not as much as is recommend for cleansing. Thanks, Hanida

I have tried many kinds of vitamin C, and they all seem to react badly. Cant figure it out. I can handle small doses, like in my multivitamin, but any more then that is asking for trouble! Very old guy now if even alive. Maybe someone will know who I mean. I read some of his stuff on vit c years ago and it was really fascinating. gigi
Guest guest
I'll be seeing Dr. Cathcart in about 2 weeks. When is you surgery? But if you react badly that is not good, just keep in mind though that not all vitamin C are the same so you might want to test out the one he recommended just to see. Just an idea of course! Antibiotics are okay to take along with LDN. Again, from Dr. Gluck's website: Can LDN be taken with other medications such as tranquilizers or chemotherapy? How about interactions with alcohol or tobacco? LDN can be taken along with ANY OTHER MEDICATION OR SUBSTANCE, so long as it is not narcotic-containing. Naltrexone is a pure opioid antagonist and it will block the action of narcotics. Some examples of narcotic-containing drugs are Ultram, morphine, Percocet, Duragesic patch and any codeine-containing medication. http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/further_q_and_a.htm
Guest guest
Problem? LDN orchestrates your immune system, adding antibiotics just means the antibiotics will do what it's supposed to, as if you had a normally orchestrating immune system with a bacterial infection. LDN is what made the difference in my staph infection, it battled and battled and lost, then 2 Levaquin doses later it caused the staph to reverse and retreat. The only problem is opiates, anything else that wouldn't be good With LDN probably shouldn't be Done, Period, Anyway. JMHO [low dose naltrexone] DENTIST VISIT i have an appt. for tomorrow morning & want to know about anti-biotics!! i think i have an abscessed gum; and he should want me to use an antibiotic before he does any work on the area!! any problem with LDN AND ANTIBIOTICS?? marshiris@... Guest guest
Now that I think about it, the tooth that hurts has already has had a root canal so I better run it past me Onc. first. Thanks. Guest guest
Things have really changed with regard to dental work. I have Mitral Valve Prolapse, and for years its been routine for anyone with MVP to be pre medicated with antibiotic before any surgical or even a cleaning of the teeth. Now they find that its not good to give antibiotics, because one day when you really might need it you will be immune to it. Dentists are not pre-medicating. I had all my top teeth extracted, bottom teeth cleaned, and got a full top plate without any type of pre-treatment. I was on my Gleevec also at the time. I would check with the Oncologist first. My Oncologist never gives antibiotics unless its an emergency.
