Dear Friends, LLS is again asking for our support, this time to support HR 716,

not to deny cancer patients their insurance benefits and allow them to receive

their routine medical services, whether they are in a trial or not. Another is

Cancer Clinical Trials Act (S488). Did you know that only 3 to 5% of adult

cancer patients are enrolled in a clinical trial. We all know they save lives,

so let them know we should not be denied routine care costs.

A new LLS is soon to launch a new Legislative Action Center. I hope you will

participate. Go the the link LLS's Legislative Action Center and see what

action upgrades are available and make it an interactive tool for blood cancer

advocates in the interest of interacting with our legislators. Here is the

website to take action.

http://www.capitolconnect.com/lls/

If we have a computer, we have access and can register today to join online and

fight for the war against blood cancers. We are warriors!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI,

Lottie

Thank you! I went to the site and I must say, they really have this down to a

science -- appropriately enough. They've got a super-efficient system that

allows you to take action in no time. Well, less than 30 seconds.
