Guest guest
Hi: I think I know what Lottie was saying. Gleevec was the first targeted treatment for Leukemia, and from that they learned a lot, and have been able to produce other targeted therapies for people who could not tolerate the Gleevec. Gleevec is always referred to as first choice, it does not mean that all the other drugs are secondary in what they can do. So many have not been able to handle the Gleevec, and went onto other treatments like Sprycel, Tasigna, and a few of the newer ones that are still in trial. So many people have done extremely well when they switched. God Bless All of You and whatever is working for you.
