Hi Suzzie,

Thank you for writing me.

My calcium has always been normal 9.2,-9.4

I don't have any readings for my phosphorus. Unless I don't know what that

is. It is not on my blood work. I am going to ask them for a urine test and

phosphate test.

I found the best article on line and you would love to read it. I will try

to send you the link. It answered a lot of questions for me.

Hi Sharon: You probably forgot that we discussed this about a year ago.

You had mentioned a high PTH,and then I responded. I would not worry

about a 95. Mine has gone up to 164, and it bounces all over the place.

All the doctors that I saw all agreed that I should just watch the

numbers. They did put me on a Vit D, but I think the dose was too high, and

it made me sick. Next time you get your PTH blood work, and if it has gone

up,then they might want to do the scan to see if that

is normal. You are probably like me, I never had a PTH done. None of my

doctors from years back were concerned with the High Normal Calcium or the

Low Phosphorus. I have no symptoms whether its up or down. I think my last

one was 114. I will have to check my blood work. I do not get another test

until Sept.

Like I said they are not concerned at this point, and based on the fact that

my calcium and phosphorus have been in the same range for 20 years, I am not

looking for trouble. The other thing is how has your

Calcium numbers been throughout various blood tests. I run around 9.5, and

phosphorus 2.1 or .2

What does your doctor say about it?

Dear Group,

Interesting topic on Parathyroid Hormone. My 12 year old child got a diagnosis

recently on this topic of Thyroid Hormone Imbalance. Instead of

doing medication this young, I choose to work with her Primary Physician

and use anti-oxidants. I asked a Compound Pharmacist in my city to make

a batch of Magnesium Glycanate 300mgs, with Vitamin C, 1000 mgs, and

Vitamin B-1, 50mgs. (Niacin) and Vitamin B2, 50mgs. Result she is not feeling so

fatigue, or cold, and takes her own basal temperature every morning, and write

in a Thyroid Journal. We eliminated all processed foods which contained

Soy Lectithin, and all Asian soy products too. We added Iodine sea salt in

addition to her table salt. We eliminated all floride, in toothpaste, and

purchased the natural ones with calendula. All night shade veggies had to be

removed off her dietary list, and the end results are, she does not have a brain

fog, like her mother in Gleevec 400mgs. Thyroid can also come about if one has a

gluten intolerance. For everyone who is concern please asked your

Compound Pharmacist to locate a book called:Overcoming Thyroid Disorders,

By: Dr. Brownstein, M.D., or contact your local libraries and request

for a copy of this book it is a 2nd edition. You can visit his web-site at:

www.drbrownstein.com to learn more!

Blessings to everyone!

Dory Doggie
