Hello Martha,

Congratulations on your PCRU! This is cause for celebration!

I've kept a low profile of late, thus you may have not seen a post from me,

however, I couldn't let your post pass without telling you how excited we are

and that we celebrate with you. Truly a blessing! Here's to continued success

in your CML journey!

Hello everyone!!! I'm still here...just haven't posted much lately. As always,

I am thankful for your continued thought, prayers, and friendship. Together, we

can make a difference!

Hello to the whole support group!

Just passed my first anniversary from diagnosis. You cannot know how much the

caring and sharing in this group have meant to me.

I am one of the lucky ones. My 12-month tests all came back " undetectable " . I

am PCRU!

And I found that I can handle the 400mg Gleevec daily OK. I had a 3-month stint

on 600mg late last fall when someone decided that my response was suboptimal.

And that was a miserable time for me; I know where my limits are! I went into

an appointment with journal articles and treatment guidelines, and won my case

to go back to 400mg. This I can manage.

In one year I have gone from sheer terror at the news of the diagnosis to

incorporating it all into my life. Now I can concentrate on finishing my PhD

(which for someone who is 60 will be a real celebration! ).

Many thanks for all your sharing and caring!
