9 days between 4 fevers & odd symptoms

Hi everyone. Hope all is well. I was wondering if you can please

help me out with a few questions today. had another episode

only 9 days from the last. That makes 4 fevers every 8-10 days in

the last 2 months. I know it must be due to the Prednisone but I am

not sure what else we can do other than, give it to him and ride

this out. Someone mentioned we should stop the Pred - is this the

advice others have gotten when they come this close?

Also last night Matty woke up from a dead sleep as if he was, ok I

know this is a bad description, but it was like he was a zombie from

a scary movie. Usually when he wakes up he stirs around and talks to

me and stretches or rolls over but this time he just opened his eyes

and stared at us. No movement or anything. It was so scary. He

whispered " I dont like sleep anymore " and said he was scared in a

very low quit voice. It was like he saw a ghost or he was seeing

things and a bit disoriented. It took a while for him to get back

to sleep. I thought it was due to the fever taking like 2 hours to

break, usually it takes an hour after the Prednisone, but last night

he was still at 102 after 2 hours. It finally broke after 3 hours.

Today he said the reason he woke up like that was because he heard

noises in his head and that he has them today as well. Like a

humming sound that gets louder and louder. His heart rate was also

125 beats a minute last night as he slept.

During all this I think the Prednisone only worked partially because

for the 1st time his temp returned today but is holding at 100 -

100.9

Anyone have any of these odd occurrences? As I have maybe mentioned

b4 our doctor doen't know too much about but we will be seeing

Dr. DelaMora in NYC on the 19th. She lists on her

interests so I'm hopefull we will get some good advice.

Any help or thoughts appriciated
