Guest guest Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 So glad to have found all of you. Our 5 yr old boy has had for over a year and a half but was just diagnosed 2.5 months ago. It was only after we spent countless nights trying to cool him down in the bath at 12am, 3am, 6am. I researched reccurent fevers on the web an found info on . My doctor actually thought it may as well. We stated prednisone 3 attacks ago and it bought down the fevers right away. **Can anyone tell me though, when do you give the prednisone? Right away or do you wait for the fever to get to a certain temp? Also we live right outside NYC, are their any Dr's in NYC?
