Hi, all - I passed the messages on from

Sharon and Eva re pain meds and Zavie

re nausea (and Lottie on general principles). Guess she hasn't tried

her

onc on the meds. Still excruciating.

Onc put her on Coumadin and said

yesterday he had no report on the

blood clot ultrasound. She asked him how

he could prescribe meds without reading

report. He just hangs up on her.

He wants her to repeat the ultrasound

Thurs. but on both legs this time. The

hosp. says they got the fax but still says

only left leg. You can see part of her

problem. Unfortunately, she fell a couple

of nights ago and has the tailbone sharp

pain and 3 large bumps on head. She has

a couple of people who can spend nights

and luckily one was there and heard her

yelling. Now both people must leave for

extended vacations, so spend a.m. on

phone from Seattle trying to deal with a

facility in Tucson where she might be able

to go for a month.

Guess no one has taken Vicodin? Firgured that is the all-purpose

panacea.

Thanks again,

Avis (Hertz Nurtle)

Avis, I have taken oxycodone while on Gleevec. No problems with the two

drugs at the same time.
