Guest guest
I just wanted to give everyone an update on our situation. Jayden had her T & A on 9/18. Her recovering was about 10 days. Days 1-5 not so bad, then 7-10 were a bit rougher as expected. She also caught a small cold during the end of her recovery (thanks to her brother bringing home some school germs). She lost 3 pounds after surgery from not eating much, but has gained it all back. She hasn't had a fever since 9/2, three weeks before her surgery. It is amazing how much happier and healthier she is overall. She is no longer pale, eats like a horse, and just is so much happier. We still wake up each day and take two or three looks at her, expecting a fever. I think its a habit after dealing with these episodes for so long. But so far, so good and we're just crossing our fingers each day. -Cassandra Jayden, 3 years, fevered since 18 months, T & A 9/18, fever free since 9/
